Last Day of Winter
Saturday. Another damp, overcast day—and quite a busy one. We had a puppy visitation first thing. One of Vanessa’s work friends brought her dachshund puppy over to meet our dogs—we’ll be looking after her while they go on holiday in May. Babs and Bento got on very well and wasted no time before chasing each other happily around the back garden. Ken & Monty have a midday appointment with a goldsmith in Canterbury, to buy an engagement ring for Kenadee… Vanessa and Milo are going along with them. I have to take Dash for a haircut in Dover this afternoon. Later on, V is heading to London to meet up with Ed and her sisters for a night out, coming back tomorrow. Big pot of curry for supper, and a nice movie marathon to round off the evening.
