Satsumata

Friday. Wet and miserable again. Dash had an English GCSE mock exam today, so he was revising in the car on the way to school; the traffic was heavy in Canterbury this morning. Work wasn’t too bad, and I managed to catch up on all my admin tasks and paperwork—next week I am off on annual leave, so it’s good to clear the decks. I escaped around four and drove straight home. A dense fog had descended over Whitfield, with visibility down to about 50 metres: murky, and spooky. Ken, Monty, Milo and Dash all went out to the gym. Fish, chips & mushy peas for supper. Two of my gaming buddies have been away for the last couple of weeks, but they’re back now—it was a genuine pleasure to get back into the game again for a spot of therapeutic twattage and hilarity.
