Little Stour Crossing

Sunday. I had an odd night’s sleep - awake at three for a while, but then I slept again till nine… which is incredibly late for me. The day started with heavy rain, but by late morning, the weather had cleared to reveal sunshine and blue skies—perfect for a short photo walk. I took this picture just outside Preston, along Grove Road, where it crosses the Little Stour river. It’s a lovely spot, which can yield very different images depending on the conditions and time of year. Later on, I spent some time in-game, working my way through the new zones and events in Castora. We made a nice shepherd’s pie in the evening—supper for the motley crew.

Family news update: Vanessa has a day off today, and there’s no list at her Folkestone clinic. Raff attended Mass at his Ramsgate church in the morning. Over the weekend, Monty & Kenadee have been exploring Copenhagen and taking a trip to Malmo, across the bridge in Sweden. Milo’s making his way back from a Halloween of partying in Reading, with his friends who are at university there. From his Instagram reels, it looks like Gubs has been having a great time as well, up in Manchester.
