No World Without Verona
Friday. Still grey and cold first thing, but much less rain. Vanessa, Ed and Tara took off from Gatwick just after seven and had arrived in Verona by the time I got home from the school run. By late morning, the weather had changed: blue skies and sun, which made a nice change from the gloom of the previous week. I have an oddly empty house. Raff’s at uni till five, and Milo’s has a very long day too: there’s a big stock take at his work which normally keeps his team going till late at night. Luckily, I have plenty of bits and bobs to keep me out of mischief.
