Quite a Lot of Red
A very quiet Saturday for me—the last weekend of my holiday, and with any luck I should be able to avoid going anywhere. The back-to-work blues are kicking in already, so I’m definitely feeling the need to hunker down and make the most of the next couple of days. More cool, grey weather—mostly dry now, but it must have rained overnight, judging by the raindrops on these maple leaves.
A little roundup of family news: Dash is on his half-term break now, happily chilling and dividing his time between the gym and gaming with friends. Raff has church today and is catching up on uni work. Milo has a clear weekend, thanks to his team completing their stock-take late last night. Monty & Ken are visiting friends in Loughborough at the moment, but are coming home tomorrow. V, Tara & Ed have Pietro’s big 60th birthday party to look forward to this evening, in Verona… while 800 miles further north, Gabriel is at the other end of the celebratory process, most likely nursing a hangover after a big student house-party in Salford.
