Raid Lighting

Saturday. Blue skies dotted with fluffy cumulus, and pleasantly warm for most of the day — we had rain in the evening. Milo & Poppy went out mid-morning to see the sights and grab lunch at Nando’s in Westwood Cross. Vanessa had a hair appointment; Raff went to Mass in Canterbury, then met up with his friends. I had a very enjoyable day: the perfect kind where you don’t have to be anywhere, and there’s no agenda, just pure white time. In the evening, V had another work night out at Bottom Spoons in town. Poppy and Milo were heading that way too, so they gave her a lift, and I did the retrieval run around ten. The A2 was closed for roadwork shenanigans, so the journey back became a nocturnal adventure in navigation along the country lanes.
