Wavehawk’s Way
Sunday. Cloudy and rather damp, with heavy rain starting around eight. Raff is off on a hike with his friends this morning — the last 10 miles of the Augustine Camino from Grove Ferry to Ramsgate. I lent him a pair of waterproof Sealskinz socks, and had a feeling he would probably need them. The deluge persisted into the afternoon — akin to taking a powerful shower, just not in a fun way. The trek was abandoned at Minster around two-thirty, and V went to rescue the soggy pilgrims. Poppy & Milo went out for brunch at Bill’s with Poppy’s cousin, who is studying at Canterbury Christchurch University. Roast chicken for supper, and a bit of currency farming in GW2 later.
