Saddlers Corner

Saturday. Clear blue skies again, and crisply cool first thing in the morning. It’s been a busy day: Vanessa’s working in Folkestone; Raff was off to church in the morning and then out most of the afternoon with his friends; Milo left mid-morning for a party in Gillingham and later went out on the town in Canterbury; Dash has an all-night post-results party at a friend’s house in Thornden Wood. Gabriel has another shift with his catering job, covering a wedding at Preston Court. I dropped him off there at two in the afternoon, and on the way back, took my photo for the day. Ed & Tara came over for supper, and helped Vanessa prep for Milo’s birthday bash tomorrow, while I did the taxi duties. I drove Dash to his party for seven, collected Gubs from Preston at seven-thirty and dropped him in town for his night out — then finally home. Chilli con carne for supper, and a later night than I planned: I got caught up tinkering with cables in the new office and lost track of time.
