Sleeping Sailboats
Saturday. An early start and an early photo. Milo had a party at his friend Callum’s house in Whitstable, in part a celebration and a send-off: he begins his new job in London on Monday. I drove to Whitstable a little earlier than necessary, mostly to help with staying awake, but with the fringe benefit of stopping by the seafront to take a few night shots. This slumbering herd of sailboats caught my eye, masts brightly lit by floodlights at the fishing harbour nearby. The pickup went smoothly, and I gave three of Milo’s friends a lift on the way back; we got home around three-thirty in the morning.
