Suffusion in the Weald
Sunday. It’s a cold, foggy day. The Lurgy has mostly fizzled out, thankfully. A quiet morning watching movies and playing games with the gang. Monty & Ken have been playing Stardew Valley for most of the day, in split-screen co-op mode—which looked very sweet at first glance, until Monty decided he would send Ken down the mines while he went fishing. Milo emerged after a good night out, rather hungover but looking extremely pleased with himself. Raff got a vintage record player from the eighties for Christmas, in beautiful condition. He’s been buying some records from HMV and spent a happy afternoon with Vanessa, looking through her extensive collection of vinyl—safely stored in various lofts and garages for the last thirty years.
