Thursday. Another beautiful day, and the house has been very quiet. Raff took Dash to school this morning, then went out to meet his friends in town. Gabriel has been packing his things, ready for the return to Manchester on Saturday. There’s been a stomach bug doing the rounds of our household, and it caught up with me yesterday evening: enough for a sleepless night, but luckily it seems to have vanished today as quickly as it came on. I got out onto the lanes for a walk in the morning, and took my daily photo in one of the woody bits along the way.
