Supermarket Sweep
Thursday. A wet day, with persistent drizzle and heavier showers throughout. It stayed pretty cold as well. A long day at work for me—didn’t get away till about seven in the evening—but the shift itself wasn’t too busy. Once I got home I made a quick but delicious supper of sausages, crispy potatoes and gravy… while Vanessa, Ken, Monty and Dash sat around the kitchen table eating dinner, watching a murder documentary and debating the latest TV shenanigans of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor. Not really my bag, so I retreated to my cosy cave to watch Season 3 of Foundation.
