Swanton Lane Midwinter
Saturday. It’s a beautiful sunny midwinter day. Vanessa is working a long shift in Folkestone, and Monty is mooching about somewhere in the Iberian Peninsula. I believe he’s driving to Seville today. With the gorgeous weather, I went out for an early drive in the countryside, hunting for today’s blip—and found this one along Swanton Lane, near Littlebourne. I’ve photographed this spot a few times over the years, but never in winter. Back at home, Ken and Dash hit the gym in the afternoon, while Raff went to Mass in Canterbury. Later on, Kenadee and Raff made supper for everyone: Chicken & Vodka Pasta, a first for most of us, and very delicious.
