The Light That Blinds
It’s the first Monday of January, not an auspicious beginning for a day. Outside, it’s very icy, but luckily I have a new can of de-icer for the windscreen. The new year starts in earnest today, and most of us are back in the saddle. Milo, Vanessa and Monty all have a full week at work, and Dash returns to school for the first day of term. Canterbury traffic wasn’t too bad—a welcome surprise. My shift passed by smoothly, and I was away by five. I took today’s photo mid-afternoon, from an office window at work. Bright sunlight refracting through the ancient anti-glare coating produced lovely rainbow-tinted patterns in the glass.
