Tuesday. A welcome day off work for me. Clear skies and freezing temperatures in the morning, -3°C when we left for the school run. Poor Dash has mock GCSE exams over the next two weeks, starting with English and Maths papers today. I stopped along Singledge Lane on the way home to take this photograph. With the sun still very low in the sky, the light fell beautifully across the ridges of frozen soil in this freshly ploughed field. From this viewpoint, on the horizon, you can just about see the coastline of Walmer and Deal. I felt the sky could use something a little bit extra, so I took some liberties with the location in Photoshop and the Alien Skies app.
