Time Capsule
Tuesday. We had perfect sunny weather at the start; the air was fresh and clear after yesterday’s storms. Dash has finished his school year and I had a day off, so there was no need to brave the Canterbury traffic. It’s Vanessa’s last day at school before the summer holidays begin, and later, she returned home with bags full of lovely gifts from pupils and parents. I popped into the city at lunchtime for a couple of errands and grabbed a sneaky Starbucks in the process. The weather turned, and it rained heavily all afternoon.
