Barbecue Shenanigans

Ballyconnell, Cavan, Ireland, July 2016

This evening we had a wonderful barbecue party - each log cabin had a kettle charcoal barbecue and we got them both going. There are plenty of great butchers in the nearby towns of Ballyconnell and Belturbet, so we acquired an ungodly amount of steak, sausages, chops and some token vegetables to burn cook for supper. Mat & I cooked contentedly (Meat. Fire. Good.) while the kids played in the evening sunshine. I’m not entirely sure what Gabriel and Dash are doing in this picture, but they do look very special…
