Campaign Leaflet
Canterbury, May 2017
I got home early from work this afternoon, which is rare but nice when it happens. General election fever seems to be gripping the nation at the moment - and I’m just not a political creature, so I find it all rather tiresome. I was pretty amused to see Raffy and Monty reading through a campaign leaflet for one of the local candidates and having a reasonably civilised debate about it, without any hyperbole or posturing - maybe I have raised them right after all! This particular candidate actually went on to win the seat and, by all accounts, has done a pretty good job since then. This photograph started out as simply a quick family snap but turned out to be a favourite image - I particularly like the fact that the boys were inadvertently wearing matching tops!
