Grove Ferry Pub Lunch

Another hot and sunny day in June, and this afternoon we made the most of the weather and went for a late pub lunch in Grove Ferry. The beer gardens are right next to the river, with huge weeping willow trees keeping part of the garden shaded from the hot sun. There are pens in one corner where chickens and pigs are kept, always a big hit with the boys. I’m not sure if these beasties end up in the meals at some point - we thought it probably best not to go there after Gabriel had become quite attached to the animals…
