Monday. More clear, warm sunny weather. Up early at first light, and spent some time tinkering in my New Man Cave: just pointless details, but they kept me out of mischief. I had a long supervising shift at work, so I didn’t see much of it, but it was a nice calm day and passed by quickly. Cold caffeine from Sainsbury’s at lunchtime, as our usual Starbucks is closed for refurbishment and no one could be bothered to walk elsewhere.

It’s Milo’s actual birthday today, but he was working, and we had all the celebrations yesterday, so it was pretty low-key this evening — just a quiet night at home after a crazy weekend. Dash has another party in Canterbury. Raff gave him a lift before meeting up with some of his uni friends, who are back in town ready for the new academic year. He came home for supper, went back out to join the gang, and crashed over for the night. I finally got my gaming PC set up in the New Man Cave, and spent a few happy hours in Guild Wars 2 with my guildies - it was good to be back.
