Friday. More weather bingo today. Heavy rain in the morning, but by lunchtime the gloom had cleared, and it was sunny again—not too cold either. The pendulum swung back, however, and the deluge returned by nightfall. Work was extremely busy, and it was nearly six by the time I got away. Milo’s off to London this evening for beers with his friend Max; they’ll be catching the last train back, so I suspect I have a taxi run in my near future. Ed and Tara are visiting for the weekend, which is always fun. We had fish & chips for supper, and later on it’s Games Night with my guildies.
