Hard Light

Saturday. A very cold start to the day, misty and overcast at first. By mid-morning, it brightened up, with blue sky and scattered clouds—for a while, at least. Milo’s working this morning. Ken & Monty are busy planning a mini-holiday next month, although coordinating plans with friends is proving more complicated than expected. Vanessa’s going into Canterbury with Ed & Tara this afternoon—they’re having lunch at Café des Amis, a great Mexican diner near Westgate. I got out for a photo walk in the countryside, but later, as it got colder, I simply enjoyed the peace and quiet, hunkered down in my cave. I made a big pot of curry for supper, and in the evening I dropped Dash at the cinema—he’s watching Iron Lung, an eldritch horror movie written and directed by the YouTuber Markiplier.
