First Day of Autumn
Tuesday. Autumn’s here, and it was a beautiful morning. Vanessa and Tara left at six; they’re meeting Gail at Ed’s in Sutton, and he drove them all to Gatwick for the flight to Dublin. I had an overtime shift this morning — busy but short — and I got away on time at 1 p.m. On the way home, I took the country lanes and stopped off to take a few photos. The rest of my day was very quiet. Raff went out to Canterbury in the afternoon with friends and stayed out till the early evening. Gubs, Dash and I got a KFC takeaway and had an impromptu movie night: we watched the rather dodgy Green Lantern movie from 2011 with Ryan Reynolds. After that, a spot of GW2 and an early night.
