Grassy Banks

Wednesday. We had storms and torrential rain overnight, but things had mostly settled by morning. The weather remained changeable, and in Canterbury, we had spells of sun and blue skies mixed with heavy cloud and rain. My workday started busy, but after lunch, everything calmed down nicely. I managed to get out for a drive and a walk—photographically interesting with the rapidly cycling conditions. Not far from Sturry, on the banks of the River Stour, I took today’s photo as transient sunlight illuminated the grasses, in contrast to the dark blue and bronze reflections in the water. Later on, just a quiet night at home—liver & bacon for supper, and a spot of Star Trek: SNW.
