The Next Oncoming Storm
Tuesday. An early start for Monty, who has to go into the office in London today. I dropped him at Dover Priory station just after 7 am, then headed home to pick up Dash and carry on to Canterbury. The weather has been beautiful, with blue skies and interesting clouds first thing, and then sunny for most of the day; it’s been quite warm too. It’s just a morning half-day at work for me, and I escaped just before one. After that, home with a quick diversion to take a few photographs along the way.
The weather started to change as I reached the country lanes near Stodmarsh. An enormous, dark storm cloud clawed its way across the sky as I watched—making for some great landscape images. Later on my route home, as I turned south towards Whitfield, I got a much closer look…
