Stony Faced

Friday. The weather has flipped again, with heavy rain and featureless grey skies — at least in Whitfield. I dropped Dash off in Canterbury, where it was actually sunny, then returned to gloomy dampness in the southeast. I headed to the beach, hoping to find a few photos among the rain-soaked rocks, and wasn't disappointed. By midday, it had changed again, and a kaleidoscope of sunshine, rain clouds and patches of blue sky marched across the heavens.

Raff went out to meet his uni mates in town, with a plan for church followed by lunch at Wetherspoons. Gabriel finished packing, and at half past two, I drove him to Hythe for one last catering shift before he returned to Manchester. A few of my work friends had arranged a long-overdue night out, so I met them at The Penny around five-thirty. Later in the evening, Milo returned home after his first week in London.
