The Rat Race

It’s Friday again, and it’s a good one. Not only are we getting very close to Christmas, but it’s also my last day before another lovely week of annual leave—I may or may not have mentioned this a few times to my colleagues. I had a long supervising shift today, but it was pretty quiet, and it gave me plenty of time to clear the decks of paperwork before my holiday. Monty, Ken & Milo are off to London, meeting up with Kenadee’s cousin Kyla, and hanging out while Monty goes to his work Christmas party.

Cool, dry weather all day, with just a touch of cloud. On the school run, Dash and I set the Slow Shutter intervalometer going to take another series of light-trail images; I’ve discovered that shorter exposures of around 2-4 seconds work better, and that having some light in the sky dramatically improves the results. This yielded over three hundred frames, but it was easy to cull them down to a handful of interesting images.
