Thursday. Heavy rain and wind this morning, but very changeable, so there have been bursts of sun in between the showers. It’s been a long night for the family: poor Ed has ended up at St George’s Hospital with his back taking a turn for the worse. Luckily, Raff has been able to help out with lifts for Dash, who has History and French GCSE papers today. The long night was followed by a long day, but fortunately, Ed has been admitted to the hospital and should have surgery to fix his back tomorrow. Vanessa & Tara are staying in London, of course, and I got home early in the evening to check in with the boys. Soup and an early night for me, and we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
