Grooming Snowy

We were up by 6 am this morning and out on the lake. I spent a happy few hours with the boys, exploring the network of waterways and teaching them to handle the boat and motor. They took to it well, and soon, I could relax while the boys took turns navigating. In the afternoon, we visited our friend Lisa Kane, who runs Riversdale J Stables in Milltown. The boys have been having riding lessons with her for a few years now whenever we are in Ireland, and they were eager to get back in the saddle. It was Dash's first time on horseback, and he loved it. I took this picture afterwards when he was helping to groom his horse, Snowy.
